Pre-Moving Day Preparation

  • Confirm Moving Date and Time
    • Ensure your moving company is booked and confirmed.
    • Notify all necessary parties of your move date.

  • Moving Company Coordination
    • Meet the movers and direct them on which items are high priority.
    • Ensure fragile items are labelled and handled with care.
  • House Preparation
    • Check the new house is clean and ready for move-in.
    • Lay down protective covers to prevent dirt and damage during the move.
  • Unpacking and Setup
    • Start with essential rooms: bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen.
    • Assemble furniture and set up major appliances.

    • Update your address on your driving license and vehicle registration.
